St. Augustine Wedding: Villa Blanca and Grand Ballroom Reception

St. Augustine Wedding: Villa Blanca and Grand Ballroom Reception

Mr. & Mrs. Wong’s St. Augustine Wedding

On a bright Sunday afternoon in May, Cresonia and Tak celebrated their love with a mix of traditional customs, modern details, and a whole lot of dancing. We were thrilled to host the happy couple, along with their closest friends and family, for a St. Augustine wedding filled with high spirits and laughter.

The afternoon began with traditional dress, food, and beverage at an off-site venue, surrounded by family.

Next, Bride Cresonia exchanged her deep red attire for a lace-filled white gown in preparation for the ceremony. We love the delicate lace details! Her Bridal Party gathered around in our Bridal Suite, filling the room with excitement and beautiful coral-colored gowns.

As 4:00pm neared, guests gathered under crystal chandeliers in the Villa Blanca in anticipation for the ceremony. Cresonia and Tak had 120 loved ones in attendance to share the big moment! The Villa looked stunning with lush green florals from Flowerworks that mirror the bride’s bouquet.

Heads turned as Cresonia and her father entered the Villa and prepared to walk down the petal-lined aisle. Her delicate white gown perfectly matched the Villa’s classic and elegant decor.

The beautiful ceremony included live acoustic guitar and the lighting of the Unity candle. After they exchanged rings and “I Do”s, the officiant introduced, for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Wong.

After the ceremony, guests transitioned to the Grand Ballroom to start the reception. Cocktail hour was filled with fresh florals along with coral and gold details. Gold lanterns with candles inside matched the classic table markers to create an intimate and elegant feel. Guests enjoyed butler-passed hors d’oeuvres like baked brie, scallops wrapped in bacon, and chicken wellingtons. The guests were soon joined by the Bridal Party and Cresonia and Tak had their very first dance as a married couple.

Once all the guests were seated, the evening continued with heartwarming toasts and plenty of laughter. For dinner, everyone enjoyed the Queen Palm Buffet, featuring roast sirloin of beef served with horseradish cream sauce and mushroom demi-glaze and salmon with champagne caper butter. A pasta bar topped off the buffet with selections of marinara or basil cream pesto sauce.

Following dinner, the couple cut their cake together while loved ones gathered around. The sweetest moments followed with the father-daughter dance and Tak sharing a dance with his mother.

The reception really took off with amazing dances that lasted all night long. Guests and groom surprised the room with impressive break dancing routines. The group was joyous, energetic, and absolutely thrilled for Tak and Cresonia.

After dancing the night away, everyone gathered outside to wish the happy couple off with a truly bright grand exit. We have to say, this shot is one of the greatest Sparkler Exits we have seen. It was such a pleasure to host Mr. and Mrs. Wong as they started their forever with a St. Augustine Wedding. We wish you all the best! Cheers to a fun and joyful night!
